What's on in the Hidalgo's Barn...
Our plans for the future of Hidalgo Horsemanship are vast and exciting! For those of you who we have already had the privilege to meet, you will know this is nothing new from us both. For those of you we have yet to meet we hope you enjoy this website and our online chat forum and we look forward to meeting you through our future plans! ~ ∙ ~ ∙ ~ ∙ ~ ∙ ~ ∙ ~ During the course of 2009 The Hidalgo's will be starting to teach their Clinics. These clinics will cover from the ground up with learning the basics of control with your horse up to gaining performance moves and show quality. As firm believers in their motto 'To Better The Horse Is To Better The Rider' all improvements with you and your horses relationship must begin with you, the rider, and the Hidalgo's clinics will reflect that, you will receive one on one help, assistance and clinic numbers are kept low in order for all students to receive as much information and help as possible! Please Email Casey & Kirstine for more information on clinic scheduling & content information. First Clinic will be held in October 2009! Contact us for more Information! ∙ ~ ∙ Kirstine is excited to begin showing in Reining & Pleasure throughout 2009 and 2010, we will keep everyone up to date on her progress! ∙ ~ ∙ Currently underway are The Hidalgo's 'Pieces To The Horsemanship Puzzle' ™ on our online chat forum. These are The Hidalgo's thoughts, idea's and thought provoking concepts on horsemanship issues we all face today and in everyday life involving horses. Whether that be as a Trail Rider, Team Roper, Cutting Horse Owner or Show Horse Breeder, The Hidalgo's will put write-ups on various topics in horsemanship on the online chat forum (link below) and these are always open for discussion to all members of the chat room. We will be placing many of these 'Pieces To The Horsemanship Puzzle' ™ on the Hidalgo Horsemanship site, open to the public in the near future. ∙ ~ ∙ Casey and Kirstine Hidalgo give Demonstrations on various horsemanship disciplines. The purpose of these demonstrations are in order to give an insight to the true meaning of Horsemanship rather than 'just riding' without the 'fairy dust' approach to horsemanship, The Hidalgo's are available to answer questions and to give you any advice you may seek. These demonstrations are wonderful for enforcing the importance of respect, relationship & rapport between two individuals - be that humans or horses! ∙ ~ ∙ The Hidalgo's are preparing their Show Prospects to run in the show season of 2009, we will keep you updated here and on our online chat forum as this exciting time progresses! These include our Pleasure Horse, English Horse and Reining Horse prospects! Check out our Online Chat Area for regular updates!! ∙ ~ ∙ Our Mare, Zippo Pine Robin's 2008 colt, Jester recently celebrated his first birthday, we are excited as our plans for him progress. He will soon begin his training for lead line classes and being started under saddle in January of 2010. ("Robins Lil Fool" - APHA Pending) ∙ ~ ∙ As you can see there are a lot of plans in the pipeline and we're sure we have missed a few as there are too many to list - we will keep you updated and of course supply many photo's of the progress we are all making! Please check our Contact Us page for our ever expanding ways of keeping in touch!
